Summary of Original Version Amend KRS 147A.070 to require area development districts to use specific hiring practices and comply with state accountability and transparency standard measures; require a report to LRC from the Cabinet for Health and Family Services and Education and Workforce Development Cabinet on allocations of funds provided to the area development districts and require area development districts to report on the use of state and federal funds; create a new section of KRS Chapter 147A to specify the requirements for audits of area development districts; make the section specifying requirements for audits; EFFECTIVE July 1, 2018.
