| Summary of Original Version | Create a new section of KRS Chapter 91A to require local governing bodies to provide information or training for the collection of taxes that are designated for local tourist and convention commissions and obtain guidance from the Department of Revenue; provide that failure by the local governing body to provide information or training that leads to the responsible party being fined by the Department of Revenue may provide a cause of action for that responsible party against the tourist commission for reimbursement of the fine. |
