Summary | Amend Section 1 of the bill to provide peer support participants the same protections in disciplinary proceeding or civil or criminal proceedings, with exceptions, as any counselor-client privilege under the Kentucky Rules of Evidence for criminal or civil proceeding; create a new non-codified section establishing the Task Force for Public Safety Peer Support Best Practices and attaching it to the Department for Behavioral Health, Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities for administrative purposes. |
