Summary of Original Version Create new sections of KRS Chapter 211 to require the Department for Public Health to establish and implement a plan for achieving continuous quality improvement in the quality of care provided under a statewide system for heart attack response and treatment; require the department to designate licensed hospitals as Comprehensive Cardiac Centers, Primary Heart Attack Centers, or Acute Heart Attack Ready hospitals; amend KRS 311A.180 to expand the protocols of emergency medical services providers to include trauma, cardiac arrest, and heart attack.
