Summary | Retain original provisions, except include criminal misconduct that occurs after the filing of the petition for dissolution as a consideration in disposition of marital property; provide that the spouse who is the victim of a violent felony offense or criminal attempt to commit murder perpetrated by the other spouse shall be entitled to exclude from marital property a minimum of 25% of whole life insurance and 25% of retirement acquired during the marriage; authorize the court to exempt any additional amount of whole life insurance and retirement up to 100% considering the circumstances. |
