| Summary of Original Version | Create a new section of KRS Chapter 243 to define grocery store for purposes of authorizing the issuance of a wine license for the retail sale of wine by the package at grocery stores; limit the sale to those grocery stores with at least 10,000 square feet of space and with minimum inventory of $20,000 of fresh meat, fresh produce, frozen food, and dairy products; amend KRS 243.030 to establish a license with a fee of $500; amend KRS 243.060 to establish a county fee not to exceed $500; amend KRS 243.070 to establish a city license fee not to exceed $500; amend KRS 244.050 to permit sampling. |
