Summary Retain original provisions except require that in order for an individual to be appointed who does not live within the city, that individual must be a resident of a county served by the utility, possess qualifications and expertise to the benefit of the utility and city, and not be employed by, serve in a fiduciary or agency capacity with, or does not possess an ownership interest in, a direct supplier or competitor of the city utility.
