| Summary of Original Version | Amend KRS 116.045 to prohibit public entities, officials, and employees authorized to assist a person in registering, transferring, and changing political party from influencing the person's decision; provide that no individual or group shall have electronic access to the voter registration information unless he or she is employed in the office of the county clerk of the county in which registration occurs; amend KRS 116.048 to require that the completed voter registration application shall only be transmitted to the county clerk of the applicant's voting residence; amend KRS 116.112 to require that each county board of elections conducts its own voter registration purge program; require that the county board of elections submit its voter registration information to the State Board of Elections on the fifth day of each month; amend KRS 116.113 to provide that the county clerk is responsible for removing a registered voter's name when necessary. |
