Summary of Original Version Amend KRS 11A.010 to define "legal defense trust" and "trustee"; create a new section of KRS Chapter 11A to require reporting requirements for a legal defense trust; amend KRS 11A.040 to prohibit a public servant or officer from accepting donations to a legal defense trust from any person or business who does business with the state; amend KRS 11A.050 to establish when financial disclosure statements are to be filed by a trustee of a legal defense trust; amend KRS 11A.990 to establish that violation of the donor limitations or filing requirements constitutes a Class D felony and the forfeiture of employment or constitutional or statutory office.
