Summary of Original Version Amend KRS 61.315 relating to benefits for line-of-duty deaths for peace officers, firefighters, and National Guard and reserve component personnel to add emergency medical services personnel and volunteers, rescue squad personnel and volunteers, and emergency management personnel and volunteers; amend KRS 164.2842 which provides free tuition at state universities for children of peace officers and firefighters permanently disabled in the line of duty, to add National Guard and reserve component personnel, emergency medical services personnel and volunteers, rescue squad personnel and volunteers, and emergency management personnel and volunteers.
