Summary | Authorize the Tourism, Arts and Heritage Cabinet's Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources, the Kentucky State Nature Preserves Commission, which administratively attached to the Kentucky Environmental and Public Protection Cabinet, and that Cabinet's Division of Water, to develop a memorandum of agreement, for a period not to exceed one year, with the Harlan County Fiscal Court for the restoration and management of the Brush Mountain Trail, for foot and equine travel; specify provisions of the memorandum of agreement, which should include limitations on access to the trail in wildlife management areas during certain hunting seasons, a baseline survey of invasive plant species, and other assurances; require a report, on or before October 1, 2011, from the state and local agencies on the status of the Brush Mountain Trail restoration and management for foot and equine travel. |
