Summary of Original Version	Create a new section of KRS Chapter 183 to prohibit the discharging of a laser at an aircraft that is in motion; provide exemptions for operations conducted by the Federal Aviation Administration, U.S. Department of Defense, and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security; amend KRS 183.990 to establish penalties of a Class A misdemeanor for a violation or a Class D felony if the violation causes a change of course or a serious disruption that threatens the physical safety of the passengers and crew of the aircraft.
