| Summary of Original Version | Amend KRS 508.030 relating to assault in the fourth degree to provide that if the act was intentional and the relationship between the perpetrator and the victim meets the definition of family member or member of an unmarried couple then the offense shall constitute a high misdemeanor under Sections 145 and 150 of the Constitution of Kentucky prohibiting persons convicted of a high misdemeanor from voting or holding public office unless granted a restoration of rights by the Governor. |
