Summary of Original Version Establish KRS Chapter 402A to redefine and establish the legal parameters of the civil institution of marriage; establish KRS Chapter 402B to define and establish the legal parameters of the new civil institution of matrimony; amend various sections and chapters of the Kentucky Revised Statutes to recognize the institution of matrimony and to conform; provide that in case of a ruling that any part of KRS Chapter 402A or 402B is invalid, all provisions of this Act, other than the repeals, are nullified.
